Ms. Amanda Osborne
Thank you for visiting the Oxford High School Library Information page. I am Amanda Osborne, your friendly OHS Librarian. My interests include reading (shocker!); swimming (new workout crush), watching sports, especially football, and baseball; learning new things; and most importantly, spending time with family & friends.
I have 25 years of service as a Mississippi public school educator. I have been the librarian at OHS for 9 years.
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Southern Mississippi completing my second Masters degree in Library and Information Science. I will complete my MLIS in May 2026.
I also have an Ed.S. in Secondary English Education from the University of Mississippi; a Master's Degree from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS; a B.A. in Literature from UNC Asheville, NC; and an A.A. degree from Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescent English Language Arts.
Feel free to email me atosborne@oxfordsd.org. Stop by the library if you are on campus or schedule a class visit. We are open 7:45-4:00 M-F!
