Lady Charger Soccer

The 2025-2026 Lady Chargers are determined to be back in contention for a Class 7A State Championship after falling a game short during the 2024-25 season.
Over the past 10 seasons, the Lady Chargers have built a solid foundation of success. With Head Coach Hunter Crane at the helm, they have compiled a formidable record of 162-42-9. This impressive track record includes two 5A State Championships, two 5A District Titles, six 6A District Titles, and two 7A District Titles.
Coach Crane often emphasizes the "heart" of the team—the players' passion, resilience, and teamwork—that drives their success. This spirit is embodied not only in the veterans but also shines brightly among the incoming players. The selected team for the upcoming season boasts a promising mix of seasoned upperclassmen and talented newcomers, ensuring that the tradition of excellence is set to continue.
Nationally, the Lady Chargers have earned significant accolades, being recognized as the number one high school girls’ soccer team in Region 2 (Mississippi and Louisiana) by USA Today, and ranking ninth nationally. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America and MaxPreps have also ranked them tenth and seventeenth respectively, solidifying their reputation on a national scale.
With such a rich legacy of success and a newly selected team brimming with potential, the future looks exceptionally bright for the Lady Chargers. Their goal for the upcoming season is not just to challenge for top honors in the 7A category but to maintain their standing as one of the premier high school soccer teams in the nation.
